    This is the car that started it all. If Ford had not created the Pony car the muscle car era may never have happened. The Mustang broke the mold and changed what an automobile could be forever. This beautiful 66 convertible is more than just a car, it is a work of art that has stood the test of time so well Ford brought the styling cues back for 2005.
 

Mechanical: Overall this car runs and drives excellently. It starts up every time easily and will cruise smoothly at 70MPH no problem. The engine is a 289 V8 that originally came with a 2BBL carb. It has now been upgraded to a 4BBL Edelbrock with an Edelbrock intake manifold. The engine has been rebuilt (we're not sure on mileage, we estimate it's less than 5000) and runs very smoothly with no smoking or noise of any kind. The transmission is the original C4 that shifts smoothly as it should. It comes with factory power steering that works perfectly. Engine bay looks good but could use a detail. The car has new Hipo style dual exhausts that look great and sound awesome. The owner recently replaced the tires and shocks and installed a bigger sway bar, it rides like brand new.
 
 
Body: This car has been completely restored to classic red with black interior. It's been stored indoors and babied and looks great. The sheet metal appears to be very original, even the floor and trunk pans, and with the exception of some spot welding underneath, it appears to be as it was from the factory. The paint job is a candy apple red that looks really good. Doors open and close easily. All chrome, stainless, and bright work are clean but some areas could use some polishing. The power top is new and looks and operates perfectly with no leaks or blemishes to be seen and the rear window is clear without fading or scratches. The car sits on classic Mustang hubcaps with new tires.
 
Interior: This interior is new Black crinkle vinyl with "rosette"-pattern vinyl inserts. It is a rare console car and the console is in excellent shape. All panels, seats, dashboard, carpet, kick panels and instruments look good. There is a 1" tear in the passenger seat (an easy fix). The original AM radio has been replaced with a Mustang cassette player.

I have tried to describe this car to the best of my ability. This car is being sold "as is" without return for any reason. The BUYER/BIDDER understands that the above listed automobile is being sold As-Is, with no other representations or guaranties, either verbal or written, concerning the condition of said automobile.  The SELLER assumes no liability once the automobile leaves their (The SELLERS) possession.

Winner must contact us within 24 hours of auction end. A 1000.00 nonrefundable deposit must be paid within 48 hours of auction end. We will accept cash, money order, cashiers check, or wire transfer. Buyer can use Paypal if they agree to pay all fees and charges. If winner is not picking up the car in person, and having it shipped, payment is still due one week from auction end. The winner is responsible for ALL THE SHIPPING COSTS AND FEES. Winner is responsible for arranging shipment. Shipping and transport costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer, I will assist with the shipping arrangements if possible. If car is not fully paid for by the end of the seven days. I will leave negative feedback and file with Ebay.
