1973 PLYMOUTH ROAD RUNNER! FULLY RESTORED AND LOADED WITH A BIG BLOCK 400! POWER STEERING, DISC BRAKES, AC, PISTOL GRIP, FACTORY TACHOMETER, SASSY GRASS GREEN! ALL ORIGINAL SHEET METAL! OVER 20K SPENT AND A THOUSAND MAN HOURS! FLY IN AND DRIVE IT HOME!

What we have is a fully restored and extremely gorgeous 1973 Plymouth Road Runner. A very close friend of mine owns this Road Runner and actually restored it for his wife. Well fortunately for the next owner, she never drove it which is why it has less than a thousand miles on it since being completed in late 2007. They both just recently came to the conclusion that it was time to let her go which is why you are seeing it today. The photos and video located below were taken on 10.18.2009. Within the video you will notice that we did open her up a bit and this was the first time in doing such. As you will see and hear, this beauty is loaded with power and is ready to be enjoyed. The reason they are selling is due to a recent purchase of a new 2009 Hemi Challenger. The friend who I am selling this for has built some of the most radical automobiles on the road today. Here are just a couple of the cars he has redone:

1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite

1970 Dodge Charger

1955 Packard  Carribean Convertible

As you will see, he is a true craftsman and by far one of the most anal retentive guys I know. If something wasn't done right, he'll keep going at it and he will not spare a dime in order to get something right. This Road Runner was built with one intention, to enjoy. To enjoy with out the worries of constant maintenance or breaking down. Something that could be shown and driven. I can tell anyone who is interested with confidence that they will not be disappointed once they see this beautiful Road Runner in person.

Body: The floors, frame rails, jams, fenders, roof, rear window sill, trunk, trunk extensions, front & rear valance, pillars, rockers, doors, quarters, are all original and completely solid. You will not find a spec of rust anywhere through out this Road Runner. It is 100% rust & bondo free. This Road Runner came originally as a white car with black interior. As you will notice today, it has been repainted to a factory correct "Sassy Grass Green". You will not find any major blemishes through out the paint. It shines out beautifully and is of excellent quality. The bumpers both front and back are original. They have been rechromed and shine out beautifully. All of the trim through out the car is in good shape and was either replaced during the restoration or refinished. All of the glass through out the car is also in excellent shape with no major pitting or scratches. All of the weather stripping has been replaced and is in excellent shape through out the entire car.

Engine & Mechanical: The motor now within this Road Runner is a big block 400. It was completely tore down and gone through prior to being dropped in the Road Runner. It does have a mild cam and is in excellent mechanical order. It does not smoke or burn an excess amount of fluids. The 727 transmission has also been completely redone and is also in excellent working order. It shifts through the gears smoothly with zero problems. All of the electrical components through out the Road Runner (wipers, turn signals, dash lights, factory tach, gauge cluster, head lights, tail lights, dome light) are in excellent working order. This Road Runner should pass an inspection anywhere on the planet with out any issues. The AC is in good working order but does need to be recharged. The power steering is also in excellent mechanical order and is also brand new. The factory disc brake setup was completely redone and is also in good working order. It has disc brakes on the front and drum on the rear. The car does not pull, shake, or make any odd noises when stopping. The dual exhaust is also brand new and sounds absolutely tremendous in person. All of the fuel lines and brake lines were completely replaced and are new. The Edelbrock 650 with an electric choke and intake are brand new. It is also in excellent working order. The 8 3/4 rear end was completely tore down and redone. It too is in excellent working order.

Interior: The interior as you will see was completely gone through. The front seats, back seat, carpet, headliner, and dash cap were all redone. You will not find any tears, stains, or fades through out any of these items. The only things that were not replaced within the interior were the door panels as they were in good shape. Today you will find that the drivers side door panel has one small blemish which could easily be repaired by any upholstery shop. The center console and Pistol Grip shifter are in excellent condition.

This is an excellent opportunity for any Mopar enthusiast to pick up one of the Mopars that are still on the rise with out having to take out a second mortgage. I can tell you from experience that you could not even have the body work and paint done for what we are asking for this beautiful Road Runner. We are only asking $15,500 which it has surpassed that price on eBay but due to the high bidders inability to contact myself, the car was never claimed. I strongly encourage anyone who is interested to please call or email to schedule a time to come check it out. I would also like to add that I am usually on the phone from 7 AM until about 12 AM so you are always welcome to call and if I do not answer, just leave a message and I will return your call immediately. I know from my own experience with purchasing cars online, most of the time it is very difficult to get someone on the phone and to obtain the information you need. So I try to always stay on top of emails and phone calls. I will also assist anyone with shipping. I have shipped many cars all over the globe and I am fairly familiar with the whole process so please, do not hesitate to ask any questions. If you're interested in getting this car to your door step prior to Christmas with a nice big bow on top, I can have that arranged. I also have a clear title for this Plymouth. As always, good luck and happy bidding!

Thanks,

Private Auctions: Due to a few scam artists who seem to attack serious bidders offering bogus offers with "deals to good to be true", we are forced to hide bidders identities in order to protect all interested parties! We pride ourselves on straight forward auctions loaded with information!

Fraud protection: M&M Classics is a registered LLC in the State of Missouri. All transactions will be done through United Missouri Bank in Kansas City, MO. Our LLC Charter Number, Federal Tax ID Number and bank contact information can be provided at your request.

Spotting Fraud: On a few occasions overseas scam artists have used our images and descriptions to attempt to pass our cars off as their own and dupe buyers into sending deposits. Usually these deals are too good to be true, and for good reason. Scammers will typically not be able to answer questions about the car, have a very low "buy it now" price and will ask for a deposit. Once you send the deposit they are never heard from again. If you spot one of our vehicles or any other vehicle for sale with suspicious terms DO NOT send the alleged seller money and please notify us immediately. We will contact eBay security about any fraud we see, whether for our cars or others.
